The Innovation Cluster CSI.NRW aims to link the regional security authorities and security companies with the creation of necessary structures for the development of innovative approaches, to improve the criminal prosecution in NRW.
The close cooperation between universities, companies and authorities is developing a think-tank of process innovations. It will be established on the basis of new technologies and devices.
The cluster offers by providing shared resources and services the opportunity to implement promising innovations directly and to test them in practice. The cluster partners have a benefit of the complementary addition and gain a significant competitive advantage in the market for security technology.

The investigation of domestic burglary, aggravated assaults and murder are for federal- and state police very time consuming.They ask for a good cooperation between the various security agencies. To guarantee a complete coverage of analysis and storage of evidence and evidence objects from the crime scene, forensic investigation till the complete criminal proceeding.
